Move Abia forward, Eze Chiabuotu tells Abians

The traditional ruler of Eziama Mgbaja Ossa Ibeku Umuahia in abia state HRM Eze Chiabuotu Emenike says Abia state since 26 years of it creation still have divisions urging that we should be building Abia than building blocks.

Eze Emenike who was addressing who was addressing newsmen on 26th birthday of Abia in his palace said that Abia is worth celebrating because having come this far pointing that what we should do more is to begin to look at the dreams of our founding fathers, have we achieved what we are supposed to achieve, we are not looking at institutionalizing their dreams, there is still that division, Ochendo came it was the dominance of a particular group and now Ikpeazu vis-à-vis there is this dominance by every group. The celebration is not complete if we don’t see ourselves as Abians, now Ikpeazu is out of protracted legal battle we expect his legs to be on the pedals to move Abia forward.

The royal father who is also a veteran Journalist urged the governor to avoid distractions from within his ranks, adding that he will go far as a young man who is determined to go forward, beside I have always advocated payment of salaries, if people are hungry government doesn’t mean anything to them.

One remembering some of the founding fathers of Abia, HRM Eze Emenike noted that if they are not honoured at this time it may be an error of omission, I am aware that Dr. j. C. Ogbonna has been honoured and given some positions in the past besides, are they still supporting the Abia dream, at their level they should be speaking out, it depends on the role they are playing, ‘stomach infrastructure’  issue is a challenge that people who are supposed to be speaking are not speaking, they should put the state in the direction it has to be.

The royal father made it clear that contrary to opinion of some quarters that Ibeku Ancient Kingdom is in shambles, that Ibeku Egwu asa is not in shambles “we have a leader duly elected in the person of Chief Emeka Eleazu as president general of Ibeku agwu Asa, if there is faction it is from mischief makers.

Collaborating traditional Prime minister of Eziama Mgbaja Ossah Ibeku Chief Jerry Onyemachi said Ibeku cannot be is shambles as a people we have procedures of doing things, anything concerning Ibeku done outside Isieke is regardless, the group that is claiming that there is faction made a mistake but when their mistake boomeranged, they turned back to pick one Princewill Ukaegbu as a contestant if he want to contest he should have started from his community Ossahg, Emeka made his declaration first before others Princewill till now never told us he wanted to contest.
