Rt Hon Ihedioha  A global network of Imo indigenes underthe aegis of Imo Global Alliance for Good Governance (IGAGG), has endorsed Rt. Hon Emeka Ihedioha for Governor of Imo State. The Imo citizens made their position known in a statement signed by the Moderator of the group, Professor Eddie Oparaoji, and published on their Telegram based forum. According to the group of Imo people across the globe, the decision was reached to support Hon Ihedioha  “after a vigorous evaluation of all INEC approved gubernatorial candidates……based on publicly available human political indices such as experience, values, pedigree, probity, history, political platform and structure, consistency, transparency of selection and capacity.” IGAGG further stated: “we are committed to harnessing all support to make him Governor of Imo State and to holding the Ihedioha Administration accountable for his stewardship as Governor of Imo State.” The group is a non-partisan organization of citizens of Imo

Sen Uzodinma Following the trending report in news media that the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Imo State 2019 Governorship Election, Senator Hope Uzodimma was arrested by security operatives over alleged $12million  abandoned contract, the politician has denied the report, saying that the rumoured arrest is the work of his political opponents and detractors.
