Recent report reaching the #NotTooYoungToRun campaign indicates that the report of the Joint Committee of Senate and House of Representatives Constitution review has conveniently excluded the ‘Not Too Young To Run’ Bill which is the only bill that proposes for youth inclusion government in the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The #NotTooYoungToRun Bill sponsored by Senator Abdul Aziz Nyako and Honorable Tony Nwulu in both houses has an overall objective of promoting inclusive governance by opening the political space for young people to run for elective offices in Nigeria. This goal of the Bill is an affirmation and reinforcement the right of citizens to participate in government and the democratic principles of inclusion, participation and representation.
