Bethel Restoration Ministries holds thanksgiving for Prophet Uzor
As
man of God says God allowed my ordeal to train me, I’ve forgiven my detractors
It
was celebration galore on 17th September, 2017 as members of Bethel Restoration
Ministries Emekeuku Owerri North LGA, Imo State and well wishers from all walks
of life gathered to celebrate and gives thanks to God for delivering their
General Overseer, Prophet Fabian Uzor from his ordeal of false criminal
charges.
Speaking to newsmen after the
service, Prophet Uzor who was accused of being involved in kidnapping, pointed
out that God used the false allegation to train him and also deliver people who
are in Owerri prison, who during his incarceration gave their lives to God.
The Marine Engineer turned
preacher said he could not have left his lucrative job in the oil industry for
the call of God only to get involved in such things, adding that the marine job
is a vocation while the work of God is a vision.
Prophet Uzor maintained that he
does not regret the vision and call from God even as he said he has forgiven everyone
that played any role in his ordeal.
He revealed that he was duly
discharged and acquitted by a court of competent jurisdiction after diligent
prosecution, adding that it was God that delivered him.
On the allegations levelled
against him, he stated that every other thing he was accused to have committed
were all mere rumours.
The prophet who was in detention
for two years and one month said while he was away, members of his congregation
still remained steadfast while the visitors left.
While advising the people, the
man of God said people should always endure trials because God will deliver
them from such trials. Citing the book of Hebrew 12:7-8, and queried: “is there
any father that does not chastise his son?” He insisted that anyone that has no
problem means that either God has forsaken the person or the devil does not
recognize him.
